How Exercise Helps Dogs With Their Sleep?

Experts suggest that dogs generally spend more than fifty percent of their day sleeping and spend thirty percent of the day awake but inactive while the rest twenty percent is spent by performing activities. They also suggest that the dogs that do not exercise sleep longer than their active friends. In few cases it was found that an inactive dog could also face insomnia problem.  

Specialist dealing with dogs say that it is must that pet owners commit to exercise their dogs for at least thirty minutes of exercise a day, though large dogs and working breeds would require more amount of exercise. Walking a dog before and after work would help in sleeping pattern and also would give you one-on-one time with your best friend.
